Britt won't start, but will play plenty

Kenny Britt

Kenny Britt won't start Sunday against Philadelphila, because of an incident in a bar fight early Friday morning, but the wide receiver is still expected to play the majority of the game, TitanInsider has learned.

No arrest was made and charges have not yet been filed against Britt or anyone else over an incident around 1:45 a.m., at Nashville Club Karma.

According to police, Britt became involved in an altercation between Harold Pointer, 26, and Bradfor Miser, 29, in the club, but left the scene before police arrived.

Britt missed practice on Friday, as Coach Jeff Fisher told him not to come.

Britt has caught a touchdown pass in four consecutive games, and should see enough action to get an opportunity to extend that streak. He has started the past two games for Justin Gage, who has been out with a hamstring injury. Rookie Damian Williams could make his first start in Britt's place.
