The Tennessee Titans could be without defensive tackle Jurrell Casey on Sunday did not practice again Friday for the Tennessee Titans and will be questionable for Sunday's season finale against the Houston Texans.
Offensive tackle David Stewart missed practice again Friday and is also questionable for Sunday. However, Byron Stingily is likely to start in his place for the second straight week.
“We would have liked for them to practice, but they weren't able to, so we will have to wait and see,” Titans coach Mike Munchak said.
Casey sustained a knee injury late in Sunday's win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The defensive tacklehas 10.5 sacks this season and is one of the Titans' best candidates to earn a Pro Bowl selection. That selection is scheduled to be announced Friday evening.
Casey is hopeful of playing Sunday, but didn't sound as if he is counting on being able to go, leaving that in the hands of the doctors and coaches.
“If I'm able to play, I'll go, but if I can't, I won't. It came down to the last game, but it's part of the game; injuries happen,” Casey said. “It basically comes down to my health and the best thing for me at this point and how it holds up.”
Linebacker Zach Brown, who missed Thursday with an illness, was back and practiced fully on Friday. He is probable for Sunday.
