Ex-Titan Henry resurfaces with Seahawks

Chris Henry is back, as the Seattle Seahawks signed the former Tennessee Titans second-round pick off their practice squad and onto the active roster on Saturday.

Henry was the 50th overall pick in the 2007 draft, but made virtually no impact in two seasons with the Titans. He was released at the end of preseason last year and spent the season on the Houston Texans practice squad.

Henry has an ally in Seattle, as his running backs coach Sherman Smith, was also his position coach in Tennessee, and was influential in lobbying the Titans to draft Henry that year.

The Seahawks had former Titans running back LenDale White, but released him before training camp. Ex-Titan Quinton Ganther also spent time in Seattle before being released earlier this season.
