Safety Chris Hope suffered an apparently dislocated shoulder in the Tennessee Titans' loss at Jacksonville Sunday.
Hope finished the 16-14 loss, but has not practiced since the injury and might not play this week when Tennessee hosts the Baltimore Ravens.
“It's how it settles down. We know the injury, it's just a matter of how he gets his strength back,” Coach Mike Munchak said. “He took a good shot on it, popped it in and out I think and when that happens, it's a matter of how strong it gets. It's a confidence thing too and the strength level how quickly it comes back in the next couple of days.”
If Hope cannot go, veteran Jordan Babineaux would step in and play as the strong safety on Sunday.
The Titans also have defensive end William Hayes who is nursing a similar shoulder injury from the game, as well as receiver Damian Williams, who is battling a hamstring injury.
None of those three practiced on Sunday.
Also, receiver Nate Washington missed a portion of Thursday's practice, arriving late after the birth of his daughter, Niyla, who weight 7 pounds, 1 ounce.
