Finnegan, Rams already have deal

Cortland Finnegan's time on the free agent market didn't last long as various reports have him agreeing to a deal with the St. Louis Rams and rejoining his former head coach Jeff Fisher.

According to reports, the deal is worth around $50 million for five years, the exact total that TitanInsider had reported earlier that Finnegan would be seeking on the open market.

Finnegan and the Titans never commenced negotiations following Tennessee's four-year, $28 million offer that came in August.

Finnegan became a Pro Bowl star after being a seventh-round pick from Samford University in 2006.

He now reunites with Fisher, who was his coach for all but the 2011 season, and rejoins Dave McGinnis and Chuck Cecil, who are also now part of the Rams staff.
