With the NFL doling out fines for rough hits, the Tennessee Titans were not immune to that on Friday, though not to the extent of the penalties levied earlier in the week against Pittsburgh's James Harrison, New England's Brandon Meriweather and Atlanta's Dunta Robinson.
According to the NFL office, Titans defensive end William Hayes was fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness, specifically, on a pass play, he unnecessarily struck the opponent late, in Monday's win over Jacksonville.
Also, Dave Ball was fined $5,000 for roughing the passer for striking Trent Edwards in the head or neck area.
Harrison was fined $75,000 earlier in the week, while Robinson and Meriweather were each docked $50,000.
