Derrick Morgan got a questionable 15-yard penalty on a fumble for hitting Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco late on the play.
Flacco lost the handle on the football, but was able to dive on it and recover, but had not been touched down. Rookie defensive tackle Karl Klug and Morgan both leaped to hit the Ravens quarterback with Klug arriving first and Morgan a split second later, drawing a 15-yard penalty and keeping the drive, which turned into a Baltimore field goal, alive.
“Even a member of the Ravens offensive line said that as a tough call. So it's kind of up in the air. The official probably thinks he made the right call. I'll be fine if I don't get fined,” said Morgan, who was playing his first regular season game since last October when he tore the ACL in his left knee.
Also, the Titans were hit with another roughness penalty on Michael Griffin for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Ravens receiver Anquan Boldin.
