In addition to signing tight end Riar Geer to the practice squad, the Tennessee Titans worked out veteran running back Larry Johnson on Tuesday.
The Titans often work out various players in order to have a ready list in case of injury.
Johnson, a former first-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in 2003, played in two games with the Washington Redskins earlier this season.
He was with Cincinnati for seven games last year after being let go by the Chiefs in the middle of last season.
The Titans also worked out three other running backs – William Ta'Ufo'Ou, Kestahn Moore. Alphonso Smith was scheduled to work out, but apparently signed with Arizona instead, according to a source.
