In the portion of Tennessee Titans practice open to the media, quarterback Jake Locker took the majority of the individual snaps in working with his receivers.
Locker, trying to come back from a sprained hip and sprained right MCL suffered against the New York Jets, had his practice reps increase from Wednesday to Thursday and was expected to again have his workload bumped up on Friday.
Locker was again wearing a bulky brace on his right knee that caused him to walk with a limp. But he was cleared for contact, Titans coach Mike Munchak announced on Thursday, and could be the starter when Tennessee hosts the San Francisco 49ers.
