Jones remains in walking boot

Jason Jones

Jason Jones missed a second consecutive day of practice for the Tennessee Titans, and his left foot remained in a walking boot.

Coach Mike Munchak indicated that Jones, who told TitanInsider on Wednesday that he has a high ankle sprain, might be able to do some limited work on Friday.

Running back Chris Johnson was limited with his ankle on Thursday, as was receiver Lavelle Hawkins, who is also bothered with an ankle injury. Both players are expected to practice on Friday and should play Sunday against Houston.

Daniel Graham was out a second straight day with an illness, while Derrick Morgan, who was excused for personal reasons Wednesday, was a full participant on Thursday.

Gerald McRath, coming back from knee and ankle sprains, practiced for a second straight day Thursday.
