Jason Jones was a player the Tennessee Titans had wanted to re-sign.
However, the two sides could not agree on terms of a contract extension, and the defensive lineman will test the waters of free agency.
TitanInsider has been told by a source close to the situation that Jones is on his way to visit the St. Louis Rams, where his old coach Jeff Fisher is in charge. Cortland Finnegan is reportedly visiting with the Rams as well in the coming days.
The defensive tackle/end also has a visit lined up with the Seattle Seahawks as well. Jones has 15.5 sacks in his four-year career with the Titans. He played tackle primarily in his first three seasons with the team, and switched to defensive end last season.
