Titans safety Jordan Babineaux was held out of practice due to right shoulder soreness on Sunday, but could play this week against the Arizona Cardinals.
He was held out of last Friday's game in Tampa Bay due to the injury.
According to a source, the injury is nothing serious, simply “wear and tear.” Babineaux has had shoulder problems in the past while with Seattle on occasion.
“I'm day to day, no real timetable. The best thing I can do is make sure I'm healing and getting back to 100 percent, and once I do get back on the field, have a chance to play at full speed,” he said. “It's not too serious. … It's nothing real major, no structural damage.”
In addition to Babineaux, other players who did not practice and likely won't play this week against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night include defensive end Dave Ball (concussion), cornerback Terrence Wheatley (hamstring), linebacker Gerald McRath (knee) and tackle Mike Otto (hand).
McRath will have season-ending surgery this week on his knee, and Otto had surgery on his dislocated ring finger. He will miss three to four weeks.
