Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt will head to New York on Monday to meet with the league office over his latest off-field incident.
Britt was arrested on July 20 for driving under the influence as he attempted to drive onto the army post at Fort Campbell, Ky. He was arrested, his vehicle was impounded and he was later released.
Britt is currently on the physically unable to perform list with the Titans after having had three knee procedures since October.
Britt did not speak with the media in an interview setting on Sunday – he has not talked since the arrest – but did tell two reporters present that he would be heading to New York to meet with the league.
“What I expect tomorrow is a lot of questions,” Britt said at his locker.
Britt has had eight arrests since the Titans drafted him in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
He was summoned to meet with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last year and pledged to Goodell that he would have no more incidents after a string of problems during the NFL lockout.
