Collins: Titans have moved on from VY saga

Titans quarterback Kerry Collins was somewhat politically correct on Wednesday when the subject of Vince Young came up on his conference call with the Jacksonville media.

“We’ve kind of moved past the whole situation. We all do things that we look back on and maybe wish we could have handled it differently,” Collins said. “I know that Vince is a great competitor, he’s won a lot of ballgames around here and it’s hard to deny that. He’s on IR now, so we’re not going to have him. I think with time, time kind of heals all wounds. But right now we’re focused on the guys we have now and what we’re trying to do now and all that will handle itself down the road.”

Collins is likely to be back from a calf injury that he suffered in the first half of the Titans' loss at Miami back on Nov. 14.
