Tennessee Titans middle linebacker Barrett Ruud said he is touch and go for this weekend's game against the St. Louis Rams.
Ruud, signed to be the Titans starting middle linebacker, missed Tuesday and Wednesday's practice after suffering a minor injury to his right shoulder on Monday night.
If Ruud cannot go, then rookie fourth-round pick Colin McCarthy could get the start at middle linebacker. McCarthy was running with the first unit on Wednesday in practice.
“I'm kind of a wait-and-see right now. I'm just waiting on the trainers to tell me,” Ruud said. “I did it in practice, just kind of banging around and caught it just right.
“I just come in and do what they tell me. If I'm feeling good, I'll probably go and if they tell me to wait, I'll wait.”
