Mularkey to go Friday; Fewell likely Saturday

While the Titans coaching search has hit an interview lull the past couple of days, TitanInsider is told that Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey is expected to interview on Friday, and New York Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell gets his turn on Saturday.

Both men will have to meet with general manager Mike Reinfeldt and senior executive vice president Steve Underwood. Owner Bud Adams will make the final decision on who will replace Jeff Fisher.

Offensive line coach Mike Munchak, considered the favorite for the job, interviewed on Monday and was followed by Titans offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger.

It is not yet known, however, if any of the candidates will have to meet with Adams either in Houston or by Adams coming to Nashville before any decision is made final.
Mularkey coached the Buffalo Bills for two seasons, going 9-7 in 2004, but 5-11 in 2005.

Fewell also has a connection to the Bills, serving as their interim coach last year after Dick Jauron was fired and posting a 3-4 record.
