After a big win against the Eagles on Sunday 37-19, one Tennessee Titans player is ready to help the youth in Middle Tennessee.
Mount View Elementary School in Antioch, TN has been selected as one of the Super Schools for showing NFL Spirit on Back To Football Friday and Dedication To Youth Health and Wellness.
The NFL is set to give each School a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 Grant & a visit from an NFL Player. Tennessee Titans fullback Ahmard Hall will visit Mount View Elementary in Antioch, TN on Tuesday October 26.
More than 5,500 schools entered the Back to Football Friday contest. Only 34 schools were chosen as NFL Play 60 Super Schools and each one will receive a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 grant for health and wellness programming or equipment and a visit from an NFL player.
Fans were encouraged to demonstrate their passion for their favorite NFL team and share their excitement by planning a unique Back to Football Friday event for their school, all to support youth health and wellness. Thirty-four winning schools were selected as “NFL PLAY 60 Super Schools,” one in each of the 32 NFL markets, and two at-large winners.
The “NFL PLAY 60 Super School” program focuses on inspiring students to make healthy choices. The winning schools will have the opportunity to host a visit from their favorite NFL team and an NFL player and participate in the Ultimate NFL Physical Education Class. Ahmard Hall will help the students at Mount View Elementary get 60 minutes of exercise on Tuesday the 26th, as part of the NFL PLAY 60 youth health and wellness campaign.
In addition to the $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 grant, the NFL will donate all fitness equipment used during the Ultimate Physical Education Class for students to use in the future.
