The Tennessee Titans have announced that Phillip Shadowens, head coach at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, TN, has been named the Titans High School Coach of the Week in week eight.
Blackman defeated cross-town rival Oakland in a clash of top-10 ranked Division 6-A schools 17-14. After trailing 14-9 with just under two minutes remaining in the game, Blackman marched down the field 88-yards for the winning score.
Coach Shadowens will attend the Titans vs Houston Texans game at LP Field on December 19th when the team honors all 2010 Coach of the Week winners from this season.
