Another game, another week of the Tennessee Titans wasting Randy Moss.
With Kenny Britt back from a hamstring injury suffered Oct. 31, Moss was barely used in Thursday night's 30-28 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Moss did not make his first appearance on the field until he finally entered the huddle with five minutes to play in the first half. He played only a handful of snaps at the X receiver position and was not targeted one time all night.
Moss and Britt, who had four catches for 39 yards, both play the same position and were only on the field together for one play, after receiver Nate Washington was shaken up in the second quarter.
Jeff Fisher's explanation for Moss not playing was in the fact that both guys play the same position.
“They're playing the same position, and so we try our best to rotate them both. But Kenny was feeling good and he made some plays for us,” Fisher said. “It's just that Kenny was a starter here, and he came back. I'm pleased with everything Randy has done. He's been great with the guys and great in the locker room and he'll continue to play.”
Moss has just five catches for 62 yards since joining the Titans on Nov. 3.
Moss left the locker room and declined to speak with reporters after Thursday's loss. Other Titans receivers, Britt, Justin Gage and Nate Washington, also avoided talking to reporters.
