Count Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin among those impressed with Chris Johnson.
In fact, Tomlin is so impressed with CJ that he said he might be “the best player in the world.”
“He has a strong argument for being the best player in the world right now. … Their offense flows through 28,” Tomlin said.
Coming from the Steelers coach, Johnson was grateful for such high praise..
“That's a great honor. That's a great honor for a guy like him to say,” he said.
Johnson made another mark in the NFL record book on Sunday with his 76-yard touchdown run, making him the fastest player in NFL history to have eight touchdowns runs of at least 50 yards.
Johnson obliterated the previous mark, needing just 32 games to do so. Lenny Moore had held the record, doing so in 71 games, while the legendary Jim Brown did so in 77 games.
