Tennessee Titans right tackle David Stewart was back at practice on Friday, and though he is listed as questionable with a calf injury, it appears as if he is a go for Sunday in Houston.
“I got to go out there and test it out, and it felt pretty good,” Stewart said. “We're just being careful. You've still got to get out there. You'd hate for you first rep to be the first snap of the game.”
Coach Mike Munchak said Stewart did well in his work Friday. The right tackle did not practice last week, but played against the Steelers last Sunday.
“He looked good. He knows how difficult it is not to practice and then go play on Sunday. Last week, it was very hard for him to do. I don't care who you are. A younger player probably wouldn't have done it, but since he's been around, he can get away with it.”
Receiver Damian Williams (hamstring) and running back Shonn Greene (knee) were out of practice for third day in a row on Friday. Both are questionable, but if they cannot go, Justin Hunter and Jackie Battle could have bigger roles against the Texans.
