In the Tennessee Titans locker room, a “memorial” has been made to linebacker Jamie Winborn.
A framed headshot of Winborn dressed in a suit is hanging on a post in the locker room that says Jamie Winborn 1979-2010, with a makeshift mantel underneath it and flowers that have since been trashed.
When asked about it, Winborn said the photo comes from his Vanderbilt days. There has been some renovations going on there, and defensive tackle Jovan Haye, also a former Commodore, came away with the framed photo.
Because Haye said the picture of Winborn looks like something displayed in a funeral or memorial service, Haye and the defensive line decided to turn it into one for Winborn, who was able to smile a bit at the gesture.
