Sunday injuries: Ford injures knee

Defensive end Jacob Ford suffered a knee injury and was unable to finish Sunday's game.

Ford suffered the injury on a play where teammates Tony Brown and Derrick Morgan combined to sack Charlie Batch. Ford had his right shoe off and was limping noticeably as he left the field following the Titans' 19-11 loss to the Steelers.

“An offensive lineman kind of fell on my leg as I was turning the corner. It's my knee, but I don't think it's major,” Ford said.

Safety Michael Griffin suffered a leg injury in the first half, but returned to finish the game. Linebacker Will Witherspoon suffered a leg injury but appeared to be OK after the game.

Also, defensive line coach Jim Washburn was seen with a brace on his knee after he was undercut on the Titans sideline during the game.
