UPDATE: A league source told TitanInsider that Wright's injury was not serious and is just a bruise.
The Tennessee Titans got a bit of a scare at Thursday’s OTA when first-round draft pick Kendall Wright injured his shoulder going after a pass from Jake Locker.
Wright was tended to on the field for a couple of minutes, before being taken to the trainer’s room with head trainer Brad Brown.
Coach Mike Munchak said the Titans would likely do an MRI, but he did not believe Wright’s injury was serious.
Wright has been an early sensation during OTAs with his athletic ability and his quick knack for learning the receiver positions.
Also, wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins was back at practice on Thursday after missing Tuesday, but did not work because of a sore ankle. He could get back on the field next week.
Receiver Kenny Britt, making his way back from a second knee procedure, did some running and cutting on a side field after practice.
