The Tennessee Titans have re-signed another of their unrestricted free agents, agreeing to a deal with wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, who was on the team's radar according to the TitanInsider Tipsheet.
Hawkins agreed to a three-year contract extension to remain in Tennessee.
Hawkins caught a career-high 47 passes last season for Tennessee after mostly being a little-used reserve in his first three seasons as a Titan.
Hawkins was a fourth-round pick by the Titans in 2008, obtained with a pick from the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for Adam “Pacman” Jones.
The four-year veteran from California took over as the Titans third receiver after Kenny Britt was lost to a knee injury.
