The Tennessee Titans have some interest in free agent wide receiver Steve Breaston, but it appears they will have to get in line if they want to pursue him.
According to a league source, the Titans are one of four teams on Breaston’s radar, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions.
According to a report from ProFootballTalk, Breaston has already met with representatives of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cleveland Plain Dealer reported today that Breaston will visit with the Browns.
Breaston was released by the Kansas City Chiefs recently after playing in just four games last season and falling out of favor there.
He had 61 receptions for the Chiefs in 2011 and prior to that had a 77-catch season with the Arizona Cardinals in 2008 and also had 1,006 yards receiving that season.
Titans general manager Ruston Webster said at the Combine last week that he did not feel wide receiver was a big position of need on his roster, but that that would not stop the club from searching around if a they felt an upgrade was available.
