The Tennessee Titans continue to work on bolstering their defensive line.
In addition to their efforts to bring back defensive end Dave Ball, the Titans on Thursday are hosting former New York Giants defensive end Dave Tollefson, who was on his way to Nashville after a visit with the Raiders.
Tollefson, who wrapped up a visit to the Oakland Raiders on Tuesday, had five sacks for the Giants last season in a limited role behind Osi Umenyiora, Justin Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul. He has played both as an end and at outside linebacker as well as on special teams during his time with the Giants.
Tollefson, 6-4, 266, has also visited with the Packers and Seahawks and could have at least one more team interested in him, according to a source.
In addition to courting Tollefson, the Titans added former Jacksonville Jaguars defensive lineman Leger Douzable. He agreed to a one-year deal, his agent Darren Heitner said via Twitter.
Douzable, 6-4, 284, who has played mostly defensive tackle, had one sack last year, ironically against the Titans.
