Linebacker Tim Shaw and the Tennessee Titans have been unable to come to an agreement, and the team’s 2011 special teams captain will test the free agent waters, according to a league source.
Shaw could still wind up coming back to the Titans, but he will explore the market in order to better determine what his value is.
Shaw was claimed by the Titans off waivers in 2010 and has been an impact player on virtually all of the special teams units.
