INDIANAPOLIS _ The Tennessee Titans met with the agent for free agent defensive tackle Sen'Derrick Marks on Thursday night and the get-together was termed “very productive,” per a league source.
There is still work to be done between now and March 12 when free agency opens if the Titans are to retain the defensive tackle, but progress appears to be being made.
Marks was one of four players atop the Titans list of targeted free agents they hope to retain this off-season, along with tight end Jared Cook, kicker Rob Bironas and return man Darius Reynaud. Meetings with all three of those players were scheduled for this week at the NFL Combine as well by the Titans.
Marks had 41 tackles with 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble in 2012. He was a second-round pick by the Titans in 2009.
