Adams, three ex-Titans on Hall preliminary li

Owner Bud Adams is among four with ties to the Tennessee Titans who have made the preliminary list of nominees for the 2011 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class.

Running back Eddie George, tight end Frank Wycheck and kicker Gary Anderson have also been nominated.

The list will be reduced to 25 modern-era semifinalists in November and then whittled to 15 finalists before voting takes place on the Class of 2011. Two senior nominees will also be considered among the finalists.

There are several first-time nominees who will merit consideration, including running backs Marshall Faulk, Jerome Bettis and Curtis Martin and cornerback Deion Sanders.
