Wednesday injuries: Gage 'day-to-day'

Justin Gage

Titans receiver Justin Gage said hopes to be able to practice by the end of the week after injuring his hamstring in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos.

In addition to Gage, who sat out Wednesday's practice, defensive tackle Tony Brown (knee) had his usual Wednesday off, while Sen'Derrick Marks, who suffered a sprained MCL in Sunday's game, did not practice either. Marks, according to Coach Jeff Fisher on Monday, could miss some time.
Also, guard Leroy Harris sat out with an ankle injury.

Defensive end Jacob Ford, who has been out with a sprained knee, practiced fully on Wednesday.

Gage said he would like to get back on the practice field by Friday, if possible.

“It's just a tweak of the hammy. I'm taking it day-by-day, but hopefully, I'll be ready to go, if not tomorrow, Friday,” Gage said.

Fisher declined comment on any specific injury situations after Wednesday's practice.
