The Tennessee Titans brought back a player they originally drafted in 2008, signing defensive tackle Antonio Johnson to a one-year contract on Monday.
Johnson was a fifth-round pick of the Titans in 2007 and spent his entire rookie season on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury. The following year, the Titans released him at the end of the preseason and re-signed him to their practice squad.
The Indianapolis Colts then signed him to their active roster and he spent five years there with 146 tackles in 64 games.
Johnson became a free agent in the off-season and now becomes the 13th player the Titans have signed since the season ended.
The Titans also waived undrafted rookie linebacker Tom Wort, who failed his physical with a hamstring injury.
