The Tennessee Titans made a roster move at defensive tackle on Wednesday, adding journeyman Marques Douglas to the roster and waiving Amon Gordon to make room.
Gordon was signed by the Titans on Oct. 5 after defensive end Derrick Morgan was placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL in his knee.
Douglas is a player the Titans have flirted with in the past, hosting him a couple of times on free agent visits and working him out again as recently as a couple of weeks ago.
Douglas is an 11-year veteran who has spent time with the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco 49ers, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets in his NFL career. He has 20.5 career sacks in 120 games.
The Titans have been in flux of late at the defensive tackle position due to Tony Brown's knee injury that has required three weeks of rest.
