The Tennessee Titans signed linebacker Xavier Adibi from among seven players who tried out on Tuesday.
Adibi, a former Virginia Tech player, was a fourth-round pick of the Houston Texans in 2008 and played thee years there before spending time last year with the Minnesota Vikings. Adibi's older brother, Nathaniel, spent a short time with the Titans in preseason a few years back.
The Titans also worked out Darryl Blackstock, Omar Gaither, Gary Guyton, E.J. Henderson, Adrian Moten and Ernie Sims.
To make room for Adibi on the roster, the Titans placed linebacker Zac Diles, who suffered a broken leg, on injured reserve.
The Titans also signed center Tyler Horn to the practice squad and released receiver Vidal Hazelton.
