Friday injuries: Ball listed as doubtful

The Tennessee Titans may be a little thin on the defensive line when they travel to face the Houston Texans.

Once again, defensive end Dave Ball (concussion) and defensive tackles Tony Brown (knee) and Jason Jones (knee) did not practice on Friday. Ball is listed as doubtful, while Brown and Jones are both questionable.

“It's going good. The knee is a little sore,” Jones said. “I don't know about this week. That's something we'll have to decide before the game. It ain't serious. If not this week, then I'll be back next week.”

Also, quarterback Kerry Collins, who is still expected to be the third quarterback, is questionable. He did some throwing and drop backs on the side.
Tight end Craig Stevens (knee) was limited in practice and will be questionable, while
kicker Rob Bironas (groin) was held out of practice, but is probable.

Also, receiver Kenny Britt (hamstring) is out, and receiver Lavelle Hawkins is expected to play, despite being excused from practice Friday.
