INDIANAPOLIS _ The Tennessee Titans are scheduled to meet Saturday with representatives for free agent defensive end William Hayes here at the NFL Combine, TitanInsider has learned.
Hayes, a fourth-round pick of the Titans in the 2008 NFL Draft, had 29 tackles in 2011 and 1.5 quarterback sacks. He had six quarterback pressures and four tackles for loss.
Hayes is one of three Titans defensive linemen who are free agents, as Dave Ball and Jason Jones are both free agents.
The Titans are already in negotiations to bring back Jones, who could be moved back to tackle. Also, a league source indicated that Ball could be a player the Titans would look to bring back at some point in the off-season as well.
