The Tennessee Titans worked out three defensive tackles on Tuesday including former New York Giants standout Jay Alford.
The Titans also worked out former Maryland player Dre Moore and former Mississippi State standout Deljuan Robinson.
Alford was a four-year starter at Penn State and was a third-round pick of the Giants in 2007. He was part of the Giants' Super Bowl champion team during his rookie year and had a sack of Tom Brady in the championship game.
Alford suffered a knee injury and missed all of the 2009 season, and was waived in final cuts this year. He signed with the Oakland Raiders, but was released on Oct. 6.
Moore spent seven games with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.
Robinson spent three seasons with the Houston Texans but was released before the start of this season.
