The Titans got plenty of their walking wounded back on the practice field on Thursday.
Nowhere was that more important than on the defensive line, where tackles Jason Jones and Tony Brown were both back after missing Wednesday with knee injuries. Brown is listed as full participation, while Jones is limited.
Also, on offense, Kerry Collins took all the first-team reps and appears on track for the start on Sunday vs. Jacksonville.
Brown has been bothered a knee condition the entire season and was unable to finish Sunday's game in Houston, leaving early on. Jones hobbled off the field against Washington the week before and did not play last Sunday.
If one or both can return, it could help offset the possibility that Sen'Derrick Marks could be out with an ankle injury. Marks did not practice for a second straight day after being victimized by a cut block against the Texans on Sunday.
Defensive end Jason Babin, who has swelling in his ankle, said he practiced a little bit in the short-yardage situations and with the blitz. End Dave Ball (concussion) practiced for the second straight day.
Ryan Mouton (hamstring) had been limited on Wednesday, but practiced on Thursday and was listed as limited again.
Kenny Britt worked for a second straight day with his hamstring injury, but did mostly scout team work again.
