Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that the team has changed its approach with defensive tackle Tony Brown, who has been battling the after-effects of right knee surgery. Brown has been told that rest is the best prescription to heal the knee.
He has not practiced or played since the Titans won at Jacksonville on Oct. 18. That gave him two weeks plus the bye week.
Up until that point, Brown had been on mostly a Friday-only practice schedule and played on Sundays.
“I think it really helped him,” Fisher said. “We changed his routine, modified some things; he’s taken advantage of the time and feels really good right now.”
