Titans agree to deal with Lutui

After TitanInsider reported last week that the club was considering signing guard Deuce Lutui following his workout last week, the Titans have now agreed to a deal with him.

Lutui will arrive in Nashville tonight and sign a one-year deal in Tennessee, according to his agent Ken Harris.

Lutui, who played at the University of Southern California, had spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals before joining the Seattle Seahawks in training camp. He was released in final cuts.

Lutui, 29, played for Titans coach Mike Munchak when the Tennessee staff coached in the Senior Bowl in 2006.

The Titans will have to make a corresponding roster move, as well as drop a player to make room for Kenny Britt, who returns from suspension. The official move on Britt won't have to be made until Saturday.

The Titans are looking for help on the offensive line, after rushing for just 20 yards on 16 carries in Sunday's 34-13 loss to New England.
