Linebacker Jamie Winborn was released by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday as the team cleared a spot for linebacker Gerald McRath, who will start at outside linebacker on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.
Winborn started four games while McRath was suspended for violating the NFL's banned substance policy. Winborn, a former Vanderbilt star, had nine tackles in the four games.
McRath started five games last year as a rookie fourth-round pick from Southern Mississippi.
