Jamie Winborn has re-signed with the Tennessee Titans, his agent Jason Fletcher confirmed to TitanInsider.
Winborn started the first four games for Tennessee, but was released when the Titans needed to make room for Gerald McRath, who was coming off a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Winborn had eight tackles, including seven solo stops, in his four games for Tennessee.
Linebacker Colin Allred was placed on injured reserve to make room. Allred, who had been bothered by a neck stinger since preseason, also suffered a hamstring injury while playing the extra linebacker set in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.
