Friday injuries: VY sits out, Collins ready

Quarterback Vince Young did not practice again on Friday with his sprained left knee and ankle, and backup Kerry Collins says he is ready to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Young, who suffered the injury in the first quarter on Monday night in Jacksonville, watched practice for the third straight day on Friday. He is listed as questionable on the injury report.

“He did some things inside, and that's progress for us,” Titans coach Jeff Fisher said.

However, it might not be enough progress, given that Young would need to be at least somewhat mobile against the blitzes and pressure.

“I'm ready to go. I've a good week of practice and I'm entirely comfortable with what we're doing game-plan wise,” Collins said.

In addition to Young, tight end Bo Scaife (groin) and defensive tackle Tony Brown (knee) both missed practice and are questionable as well.
Receiver Kenny Britt, who was involved in an off-field incident, was listed as no practice (coach's decision).

Defensive tackle Jason Jones (shoulder) practiced and is probable, as is running back Chris Johnson (thigh).

Receiver Justin Gage (hamstring) and cornerback Jason McCourty (forearm) are both listed as full practice and probable.
