Warmack not fazed by Watt's play

Chance Warmack’s first encounter with Houston Texans star J.J. Watt ended with Watt getting half of the four sacks recorded against Jake Locker.

When it was over, the Tennessee Titans’ first-round pick, admitted that Watt is a talented player, but refused to go much further than that, adding that he was “just another guy.”

“It was a learning experience. He’s really talented at what he does. It was a learning experience for me, but you’ve always got another chance to get better. I looked at the film and I’ll make corrections,” Warmack said.

Warmack certainly didn’t want to heap extra praise upon the NFL’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year on Monday.

“He’s just another guy. He’s another guy. He’s a talented dude, but he puts his helmet on just like me. I’m not gonna give him any more credit than he deserves. He’s a good player, but everybody has a weakness,” Warmack said..

When asked about Watt being able to make plays on Sunday, Warmack added, “He did. But that’s football. There were some plays where we got beat, but there were some plays where he got beat. That’s the game. You can’t get concerned with the name.”
