I'm told that it's not actually new that it was agreed to awhile back, maybe even before the start of the 2010 season. As for terms, haven't heard, but he was making in the range of $2 million a year before.

Wow, they should pay the man a little more. Is that on par with what most GM's make? He should at least make 3-4 mil a year, after doing a solid job so far.
I'm sure he got a raise, but I haven't heard how much yet. Fisher was making around $6 million a year at the end of his tenure. Of course, he had been on the job a lot longer than Reinie as well.
