So what happens when McCourty is ready to return? Is Verner out?

Why does our defense keep getting beat by the screen? These short passes get the best of us too often.

I think part of the reason is because the front four is so aggressive attacking up the field with the pass rush. The screen and the draw are two offensive plays that teams use to hurt an aggressive rush. When you add in the occasional linebacker or safety blitzing, it makes them even more vulnerable to these types of plays.

I not only don't think Gage has any chance of playing Monday night but I don't think he'll be back anytime soon. I would get used to Britt and more Damien Williams (depending on the extent of his injury) in the foreseeable future.

I think he has been passed up by Williams on the depth chart, though

Not sure about any calls, but I'm pretty sure he didn't show up on the tryout lists today. The good news for Jamie, though, is that by being on the roster opening day, it guaranteed his salary for the entire season.
