Running game needs to be strong against unbeaten Chiefs
TitanInsider: Any closer and you'd be in the huddle.
Before you read the statistics I'm about to throw around, let me sum up before I begin......>Don't drop CJ from your fantasy team.
I posted the link in another thread. Let's go over the stats.
84 attempts at 3.3 yds/carry and 0 TD's.
Sept 58 attempts at 3.2 yds/carry and 0 TD's
Oct 73 attempts at 5.6 yds/carry and 2 TD's
Nov 60 attempts at 5.8 yds/carry and 2 TD's
Dec 85 attempts at 3.5 yds/carry and 2 TD's
Sept 46 attempts at 2.1 yds/carry and 0 TD's
Oct 61 attempts at 3.3 yds/carry and 1 TD's
Nov 76 attempts at 5.2 yds/carry and 1 TD's
Dec 64 attempts at 4.5 yds/carry and 2 TD's
Sept 75 attempts at 4.0 yds/carry and 4 TD's
Oct 103 attempts at 4.1 yds/carry and 4 TD's
Nov 45 attempts at 5.6 yds/carry and 1 TD's
Dec 73attempts at 4.8 yds/carry and 2 TD's
So what can we extrapolate with these stats:
1. CJ doesn't score a lot of TD's......he's a yardage monster.
2. CJ tends to have a slow start. Sept is not his month.
3. He tends to make good leaps forward in Oct/Nov.

The chiefs give up over 5 yards a carry. Granted they take leads early and force teams to pass. That's where they've been buttering their bread getting after QB and forcing turnovers.
