Eddie is hands down the best running back the Titans have had since Earl Campbell. If CJ can ever lead the Titans deep in the playoffs, then he might have a cause to join him in the discussion.

PapaTitan keeps it real.
If I'm not mistaken, CJ is on pace to crush nearly all of George's record.......except for TD's. Certainly if CJ continues on his pace he is definitely in the discussion.
CJ is on pace to do a lot of things. The one thing he hasn't done is help win a playoff game.
Get back to me when CJ helps win a playoff game or two.
Help win a playoff game?
CJ is averaging >200 yds, 1.2 yds more per carry, 1 more TD, 80 yds more passing, per yr. At this pace he is going to crush George's records.....assuming he continues.
Oh, and by the way......CJ's one attempt at "helping in a playoff game"......11 attempts for 72 yds, at 6.5 yds per carry, 1 catch for 28 yds, and 1 TD. Those are decent stats and he seems very underutilized during the game to me.......but effective. George also had considerably more talent around him. McNair and that offensive line were beasts.....not to mention the guys on defense. I like Eddie, even have met him lots of times, but CJ is getting it done and you can't deny that.
I think this year will show where C.J.stands. Greatly improved o-line and a better Defense. If he pu$$y foots to the hole and drops easy dump off checkdowns,he will be looking for work next year given his salary.Eddie was a leader on and off the field who could "salt" a game away with his running style.CJ got some garbage stats when the team was getting blown out and Eddie got some additional yards when the Titans were up and trying to protect a lead.I think i would take Eddie over Cj in the ball security area.I think CJ can really effect his legacy by his preformance and attitude this year.
No doubt that Eddie has CJ in character, but wouldn't feel bad about starting a team with either. I'd prefer a larger RB with a more smashmouth style, but I wouldn't feel bad about either.
I hope you're right.
I too see CJ having a better yr. He has a RB behind him fighting for the spotlight. The o-line has been fixed. The passing game should be improved, even if J-Locke doesn't perform any better. Here's the thing. Even in CJ's down yr's he still posts great numbers......so he'll probably easily get >1200 yds.
Hopefully having Greene behind him will motivate CJ to have a great season.
