He's be a great back up swing for the two guards and the center (Like Mike Otto with the tackle spots) but I feel as if Warmack is there we have to take him. If we take him not only is he gonna be a pro bowler but drafting a guard will allow you to use those second and two third rounders on whatever. Like maybe go DE round two and then WR and CB round three. Honestly if we have a draft class almost as good as the one two years ago. We will compete. If we contend for a wild card lays on the coaches and Lockers shoulders
They're doing alot of things, and I think one of those things is them attempting to put themselves in a position to draft BPA at 10. I think Ruston has shown that to be his philosophy.
Lee is right. I don't think that signing another guard means that they won't take a guard with their first pick but it may mean that they don't have to take a guard. What if Warmack goes before we get a shot at him? You have to put yourself in a position to be flexible.
I too like Warmack but his strengths won't fit in to well in the zone blocking scheme, large guy who is not athletic Cooper is the better fit for the Titans scheme.
That's not true Alabama plays a zone blocking scheme.warmack would be a great fit for the Titans .
Exactly. Mayock and the other talking heads were saying during the combine that Warmack is extra special bc he can play in any scheme. So he's a massive asset to any team for a long time bc you don't have to replace him if you change offenses.
Take Warmack Round one and the. Sam Montgomery round two
I am starting to wonder about Montgomery. He's come out lately and said that he's not sure if he wants to play football anymore. And he said that he has a problem with gambling/betting on football. Those aren't necessarily deal breakers, but they are yellow flags that some of the other 2nd rd talent DE's don't have.
I love the idea of taking Warmack followed by a DE in the 2nd rd though.
Okay even then we can get Okafer or Hunt
Levitre and turner help tremendously. Hopefully turner turns into a rotational guy. We still need at least depth. If warmack is gone take bpa. Then draft a true C in the second.
Love Barrett Jones at C big physical and nasty. He'd b a tone setter up front.
And he could actually last until the 3rd rd......probably a 2nd rounder, but is projected 2-3rd.
