Started at the bottom, now we here.....better get used to it.
Yes, I just hope he knows that he is only here to teach Locker though.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Yes. He is hear to win games, not just to mentor Locker. It was a responsible move by the Titans FO. To move on from Kerry Collins' 2-11 qb play. And move on to someone who could actually win games, teach Locker, and allow him time to develope (not just start the season 0-6 and pitch him to the wolves) was the best move the FO could have made this offseason, and they did just that.
Yes. Absolutely a great move. Hasselbeck when healthy is a better QB than anyone we've had under center since McNair (but that's not saying much).
Yes, but Hasselbeck is getting a pretty good deal. Titans overpaid a little. Not sure it was necessary.

Yes. Great way to bridge the gap from the VY debacle to the Locker tenure. Solid QB, good leader and a good locker room presence. All things we need. We may have a overpaid a bit, but the biggest chunk of that $$ is in the 3rd year, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's not a Titan in year 3 anyway.
The guy was probably the best free ageny QB out there (Anderson ain't that good and McNabb is washed up). Ask the Saints if Hasselbeck can still win a game.
Now if we can only keep him in one piece for most of the season.
i think it's a solid move, and i believe its great that our two qbs have a relationship established already. locker will benefit tremendously from studying under a vet like hasselbeck.
Good move to obtain a veteran QB. Too early to determine if we paid too much. Personally, I would like to have had Bulger (for less cash) and used the extra $$$$ on CJ.
"Conceit is bragging about yourself.Confidence means you believe you can get the job done." Johnny U.
Yes, because he was the best free agent option at quarterback.
Yes, I think it's a solid move.
PapaTitan keeps it real.
